The International Summer School for master’s degree students is part of the curriculum and can be completed at one of our renowned partner universities in Istanbul, France, Spain or the USA. The English-language Summer School prepares you for international and interdisciplinary areas of work. In addition, you are able to broaden the skill set you acquired in the first two semesters, gain intercultural experience, and acquire fresh perspectives while establishing a network. The International Office at University of Applied Sciences Europe (UE) will help you prepare for your Summer School application.
The International Sport & Event Management (M.A.) degree also offers you the option of earning a complementary degree at Real Madrid Graduate School (Madrid, Spain) or Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur (Paris, France).
Erasmus+ is the new EU education program that promotes the mobility of students and lecturers. Set up in 2014, it continues the well-known Erasmus student exchange and grant program, in which 2.5 million students have taken part to date. Erasmus+ facilitates a strategic partnership between two European universities for the purpose of a student exchange. Participating students receive grants.
Under Erasmus+, you do not pay student fees at the university abroad. Instead, you pay student fees to UE and also receive a grant in the form of a monthly payment. Last, but not least, you benefit from the organized and reliable relationships between UE and your university abroad.
Matriculated students of all German universities who participate in the Erasmus+ program are eligible for the grant.
To apply for a period of study abroad at one of our Erasmus+ partner universities, please submit all of the following documents in one single envelope to the UE International Office:

Erasmus+ is not an elite program; however, excellent achievements can make all the difference.
The European Commission has awarded UE the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education 2014–2020. The award of a charter for the current period is a pre-requisite for participation in Erasmus+. It obliges UE to promote the exchange of students and staff, and it also provides the quality framework for all activities within the Erasmus+ program.
The program’s curriculum includes participation in the International Summer School after the second semester.
To obtain a complementary international degree in International Sport & Event Management, students spend one whole semester at the relevant partner university. For the master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Sports Management from the Real Madrid Graduate School, you will spend the second semester in Spain. For the master’s degree in International Business, you will spend the third semester at the Ecole Supérieure du Commerece Exterieur in Paris.
The program’s director will inform you of your current options, and the International Office will assist you with applying.
Please discuss the possibility of spending a semester abroad with your program’s director.
