Additional Program - Trial Lecture: "20 Years World Anti-Doping Agency - A Balance Sheet" - in German
With Prof. Dr. S. Chatrath from 7 pm

What is treated in the trial lecture:
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was founded in 1999. On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, it is time to take stock. Professor Chatrath has already published many articles on the subject.
He demands: "WADA urgently needs to be reformed. It is one of the most powerful organisations in the world of sport, but is not accountable. In addition the decision-making processes are intransparent. Changes to WADA's anti-doping rules are decided in committees far removed from the public eye."
In the lecture followed by a discussion, the criticism of WADA will be explained in detail. What could be alternatives to the existing system?

We are looking forward to welcoming you at University of Applied Sciences Europe!
