How could Spiegel Online win over a younger audience on Snapchat? Which formats on Snapchat could work in the context of daily news?
These were the questions with which the Communication & Media Management and Journalism & Business Communication students in the 5th and 6th semester tackled. After a briefing by the Social Media Manager at Spiegel Online, they got to work. They developed a prototype of a Spiegel Online Snapchat account including pre-produced videos and photos. And then the big day arrived and the anticipation, of course, was high: In the Spiegel building the students presented their concept and ideas to the Social Media and Marketing managers.
