Since its founding in 2013, b.fashion has been pursuing the goal of providing sector-related know-how, contacts, and hands-on experience to its members, aiming to facilitate a successful start to their career. There are weekly meetings in which tasks are allocated and joint decisions are made. The group acquires a great diversity of projects with reputable companies on its own initiative, in order to complete the individual steps as one would in a professional career.
Recently, members were remunerated for working with Deutsche Telekom AG in an official cooperation for the development of the online community mycomoda.de. Other projects include a blog and the University of Applied Sciences Europe fan collection which was created, produced, and realized in-house.
The outcome of the resort is remarkable: after an average of 2 semesters in the resort, 80% of the resort members have a position at a company in the sector. Current and former resort members are working for brands such as Max Mara, Sinn Leffers, Marc O’Polo, Calzedonia, Ludwig Beck, Fashionette, GANT, Abercrombie & Fitch, Diesel, Condé Nast, Agentur mab-fashion, Karstadt, Breuninger Düsseldorf, Douglas Holding GmbH.
b.fashion is open to all students in all disciplines and semesters. The condition for participation in the resort is outstanding engagement, commitment, and interests in value creation in the apparel sector.
