This year’s International Summer School by University of Applied Sciences Europe will be offered in Berlin for people of all countries around the world. Be one of the international and intercultural participants and take part in a wide range of activities: In seminars, workshops, and excursions in Berlin and its outskirts, getting to know the world of sport management.
The University of Applied Sciences Europe Summer School 2019 is designed to combine in-house workshops with excursions to various professional sport clubs, events and NGOs in Berlin and the region, where participants get a first-hand impression of the work in modern sport-organisations.
Lectures will be in marketing, sponsoring, strategy, general management and event management. Field trips to professional sport-clubs, organisations and events in Berlin, Potsdam and Hamburg offer the opportunity to meet representatives from federations, events, clubs and agencies.
Germany’s Capital, Berlin, is considered the capital of German sport. Besides the almost 2.500 sport-clubs, the Olympic Centre is providing services for about 20 Olympic sports. In terms of team-sport, Berlin offers a high density of top-tier clubs starting with the football Bundesliga clubs Hertha BSC and Union Berlin, Berlin-Volleys (volleyball), Eisbären Berlin (ice-hockey), Füchse Berlin (handball) and ALBA Berlin (basketball).
