An entrepreneurial mentality and independence are the two pillars underpinning our instruction. The instruction is practical and involves personal interaction with the lecturers and professors, while practical projects prepare you for day-to-day work. The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) is part of the Global University Systems Network, which brings together students from all continents. It facilitates the global exchange of information as well as semesters and internships abroad.
The new City-Campus is located very close to the harbour and the river Elbe and offers cutting edge equipment, a sunny courtyard and poignant elements of a century-old architecture. The Campus Hamburg is located in Altona, and therefore in one of the liveliest districts of Hamburg. Here students find themselves in the heart of the traditional business- and media city and close to both professional application and real life right from the start. With 2,000 square meters at their disposal and live broadcasts from our radio studio, Altona is an impressive prospective campus for students from all over.
Hamburg, the so-called Pearl of the North! The beautiful inner city, the individual neighborhoods, the economic strength of the metropolitan region, and its steady growth make the hanseatic city one of the most attractive and largest economic, trade, and logistics centers in northwestern Europe. The city with the Elbe and Alster rivers flowing through it is Germany’s No. 1 media location and home to numerous world-class companies and a large number of prosperous SMEs. In short, Hamburg is a mercantile city founded on the principles of business: practical and cosmopolitan.
Elbchaussee – the street of villas and parks – multicultural Ottensen, business elite, creative scene, fish sandwiches, and caviar: Altona is Hamburg’s most diverse district. In this melting pot, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) opened its new campus for the 2014/2015 winter semester, thus creating a mecca for students and teachers. Central and in the thick of it; there’s nothing left to be desired.
