General Information & Library Use

CAMPUS BERLIN
The Berlin campus library features 18 workplaces as well as couch and reading areas. The library offers Wi-Fi internet access like all other campus facilities.

Borrowing / Loan periods
The standard loan period applies to the majority of items available at the library and is set at two weeks. Exceptions from this general rule are in place for our journal collection as well as all items marked 'for reference' with a red dot on their spine. The library may set shorter loan periods for special purposes (e.g. right before and during end-of-semester exams).
Extending loan periods is generally possible provided that no reservation is in place. Please notify your campus library via e-mail.
For our policy regarding late returns see the bottom of this page.

Printing / Copying
UE's Berlin campus library does not dispose of a printer/copier of its own. Please use the devices provided throughout campus.

Registration at other libraries
The university libraries of the Humboldt-Universität and the Freie Universität register every person residing in Berlin free of charge. The same applies to many (but not all) universities of applied sciences. Please refer to library staff should you require materials beyond UE Library's collection. We will be happy to assist finding the right institution for you.

CAMPUS ISERLOHN
